NEAR ZERO EMISSIONS
DRAIG supply burners to your plant with NO capital outlay required by the client, our rental service will be covered by a small percentage of your electricity sales. Our service includes providing engineering expertise (again with no capital outlay) to support the planning for retrofitting your plant with our burners. Any changes that need to be effected to the existing plant, in order retrofit the DRAIG burners, will be at the cost of the client.

The DRAIG Energy Centre has been purposely designed especially to suit all environments even Africa. The Energy Centre has no need to be sited by water, because we use a closed loop cooling system. We do not need to be sited next to a large dam, like other conventional power stations must do. Therefore we can operate anywhere so long as fuel is available.
Efficient combustion relies heavily on controlling the excess air going into the combustion chamber. Too much and you have free oxygen that can combine with nitrogen or sulphur, making nasty gases. Getting the oxygen content right is the job of Draig's patented computer system. 98-99% combustion efficiency means Ultra-Low harmful gases, and with our partners new technology we operate with 'NEAR ZERO' harmful emissions.
The air turbine when designed, will operate like a jet engine in reverse. Hot gas is compressed before the turbine and ambient temperature air is added. This expands rapidly creating a huge pressure in front of the turbine. As the hot gas passes through the turbine it rotates and drives the rotation of the generator, which produces the electricity.
Using a closed loop cooling system it means that the Energy Centre doesn't need much water to operate, it can be sited in the most unlikely and harsh environments. So long as there is an available fuel source locally, the Energy Centre will produce electricity. Which means the DRAIG Energy Centre can be located at the end of a transmission line, where power is needed.
The DRAIG Energy centre has been designed to plug together in 50MWe modules. Therefore the sizing of the power station is easy as for 200MWe you need 4 modules. These are delivered to site and are simply installed. Everything is pre-tested before it leaves our factory, we deliver a power station to site that produce electricity immediately.
