Conventional Power Stations.

These have a burner firing into an expensive water tube boiler, to make steam. In turn the high pressure steam passes through a steam turbine creating a rotational force that turns the generator and makes electricity.

Conventional power stations need to be sited near a large water source because they constanly need water for the process. This limits where they can be situated.

Draig Energy Centre

The DRAIG Energy Centre can do exactly what conventional power stations do, however it operates as a closed loop water system and therefore doesnt need a large water source to operate, just requiring top up water to replace small water loss.

This means locations not suitable for other types of power station do not pose a great problem for the DRAIG Energy Centre.
